Prof. Reva Siegel To Deliver Keynote Lecture of The Brennan Center Jorde Symposium on de facto ERA

November 10, 2005

Prof. Reva Siegel, one of the guiding progressive lights of the YLS faculty and chair of the Yale ACS Faculty Board, will be delivering the keynote lecture of The Brennan Center Jorde Symposium on Monday, Nov. 14 at 4:30pm in Rm 127. The lecture is entitled "Social Movement Conflict and Constitutional Change: The Case of the de facto ERA." This talk will in many ways be a culmination of years of excellent work by Prof. Siegel in the area of anti-discrimination and women's equality, and is not to be missed.

Prof. Siegel's talk will be followed by responses from YLS ACS Faculty Board member Prof. Bruce Ackerman and Harvard Law School Prof. Martha Minow.  After the lecture, ACS will co-host a reception for Prof. Siegel in the Alumni Reading Room.
