The Evolution of the Conservative Legal Movement

Posted Mar. 15, 2006

On Wednesday, Mar. 22, from 12:15-1:30 in Room 122 , Yale ACS and the Yale Federalist Society will be co-sponsoring a talk with Steve Teles, a Fellow in Center for the Study of American Politics at Yale University. Mr. Teles will talk about the origins and development of modern conservative lawyering.

Looking at organizations from the Federalist Society to the Center for Individual Rights, Teles will discuss his theory of conservative legal counter-mobilization and provide an overview of the organizations and strategies that did--and did not--make it all happen.
